Part of Galapagos new Midcentury Made Modern collection designed with interiors projects in mind, the Genovesa occasional chair is inspired by our elegant British cocktail chairs of the 1950s.

It features a splayed & tapered legs and embodies the spirit of the age when furniture design moved from dark and heavy to light, modern and playful in the family home.

The Genovesa Cocktail Chair can be made in all the fabrics on our Fabric Samples page and also in bespoke fabrics. If you don't yet know which fabric you'd like, we can make suggestions and send out samples for you to choose from.

Chair Materials
Each frame is made exclusively for us in responsibly sourced European Beech. It is a strong, traditionally constructed seat with a handmade spring cage made just for this style of chair, and upholstered to order by our craftsmen in the leafy village of Normandy in Surrey.

- A strong, traditionally constructed seat with custom designed spring cage to give strength & comfort

- Use of natural wool felt, calico and hessian which will last longer than foam, and degrade naturally at the end of their useful life or Crib 5 compliant internal materials for contract use

- Woodwork is available in a variety of colours

Pricing
Prices shown in this listing exclude fabric. Each chair requires 2.5m of fabric plus piping fabric. If you would like a chair in any of the fabrics seen on our samples page, please ask us and we will prepare a quote for you. 

Made to Order
We currently have stock of Genovesa frames ready for upholstery. Your chair will be made to order in our Surrey workshops, and will be delivered in 4 to 6 weeks.
